Which list should I make my Source List?

In general most users have found that making the smaller list the Source list makes the match approval process faster.


What can I do if I automatically approved records wrongly?

You can either disapprove manually the approvals, for small errors or clear all the Auto Approvals and re-apply any Auto Approvals you require.


How many match projects can I have running at one time?

Each user can have a maximum number of 2 Projects active in their account at any one time. But you can delete and add new Projects as many times as you wish.


I find it difficult to set the match weighting to the exact value I want using the sliders, is there an easier way?

Yes, you can type the exact value you want; just click on the value, a box will appear where you can type in the value, bypassing the slider bars.


I find it difficult to set the Auto Approval /Reject scores to the exact value I want using the sliders, is there an easier way?

Yes, you can type the exact value you want; just click on the value, a box will appear where you can type in the value, bypassing the slider bars.


I am not seeing all the fields that I want to see in the Match Approvals screen, Can I show these?

Yes, Click on the View Options button and you will be able to control which fields can be seen in the Match Approvals Screen.


If I apply re-match my lists using different match weighting criteria in the Visualiser will it affect my existing match approvals?

No, the matches that have already been approved will be maintained, this way you can match the lists in as many ways as you wish and add to the approvals as you find more good matches.


Can I share my match project with colleagues, who can help with the approval process?

Yes, corporate customers can have multiple users and they will be able to share both projects and lists.


I am not able to create any new match projects, what should I do?

This will happen if you have the maximum number of projects active that is allowed within your account settings, you will need to clear out some of your existing projects before you can create any more.


I have not got time to complete the Match Approval process in one go, can I revisit this at a later date?

Yes, go to your Projects screen and access your project again at anytime - it will be exactly as you left it.


Is there a way I can see which matches have been automatically approved versus manually approved?

Yes, all automatically approved matches are highlighted with the Visualizer with a (A) icon shown in the bottom right hand corner.


How do I Match Lists from other countries?

Enterprise customers have the ability to match lists from multiple countries in multiple languages, please contact our sales team to discuss your requirements.


What do the Score Codes in the downloaded results mean?

The Score Codes use the following Key:

Score Code Meaning
A High Scoring Match
B Suspect Match
C Poor Scoring Match
X Not a Match

A score code is generated for each column used in matching i.e. each column that was assigned a descriptor; and a Score Code for the overall record.
